Louis here. For the last few years, I’ve spent more time than I care to admit playing Dream League Soccer. 

Essentially FIFA for your iPhone, it’s a phone app that lets you build a soccer team from real global superstars, then compete in games as that team. I’ve found that playing a couple of six-minute matches whenever I hit an afternoon wall helps to reset my mind, and even allows me to think through more complex problems while the other, twitchier part of my brain is focused on scoring a goal—just like how you often think more clearly while driving.

And I exclusively play the most popular game mode, ‘Dream League Live’.
