Colin here. There's something broken in luxury hospitality. The big hotel groups have tried to industrialize what was once a craft, creating an assembly line of experiences masquerading as luxury. Think standardized protocols, predictable touchpoints, and staff outsourcing every decision to corporate playbooks. But amidst these factory farms of high-end stays, an interesting counter-movement has emerged: the resurgence of family-owned hotels.
