This reminds me of growing up in Manchester in the nineties. Seeing the chemical brothers on a Thursday opposite the student union (I wasn’t a student), dancing to all these legendary djs in back rooms, after parties, small laid back situations.. then the surrealism of releasing an UNKLE cd when I was older, working for a record company in Sydney where the state of the music scene bought into sharp focus how very lucky we had been..
