Today’s recommendation comes from WITI contributor Graydon Gordian: Ptah, the El Daoud, a 1970 album by spiritual jazz icon Alice Coltrane. The album features Coltrane on piano and harp, both Joe Henderson and Pharoah Sanders on tenor saxophone and alto flute, Ben Riley on drums, and (say it with me now) Ron Carter on the bass.
