I remember reading a quote on the Bluey Reddit (of course there's a Bluey Reddit) along the lines that it's not clear whether the show is a kids' show that appeals to parents or a show about parenting that appeals to kids. A large part of that uncertainty is the obvious care the creators take to not broad-brush *any* of the characters, including Chilli and Bandit.

Amen to that. Play is how kids communicate. They don't care about your Powerpoint decks or email backlog. You put your work stuff away and close social media and jump right in with them.
