"Summer Babe" was Pavement's first hit, but I loved the b-side "Baptist Blacktick" much more. I'm no Pavement super fan, but this is still the first song I think of when I think of them.

I think originally it was the track they used as they went off stage and waited to be cheered back on for an encore, but I'll leave it to someone older and wiser than I to confirm (I was born the year it came out)

Siouxsie & The Banshees have many killer B-sides: "Voices", "Eve White/Eve Black", "I Promise", and "Red Over White" to name but a few.
P.S., AFAIK "Blue Monday" was never a B-side first, but appeared fully formed as a an orignal A-side (backed with the remix "The Beach").
