Later, after I was living in Northern California, it began arriving in my mailbox. All other catalogs go straight to recycling, but I read this one with the eagerness I’d normally feel for a litmag or the town’s crime blotter.
After reading this post, I visited the website & put a couple of things in my cart, though I never checked out. I felt a wave of nostalgia for the wonderful drawings and the Seinfeld-esque copy.
This is exquisite, and one of the finest examples of why I adore WITI. I never imagined I could be envious of someone’s mail order catalogue subscription.
