TIL that the fab building that houses the Office of Collecting and Design is shuttering and the museum will only be open in this location through October 2024. However, the Office's newsletter also said they have "immensely ambitious plans for the future," which will be announced next month. 👀
Sounds like exciting stuff for this intimate, quirky, wonderful place. Also curious what will happen to the building. It's prime real estate in the older city center, and Vegas has a tendency to tear down the past to make room for the new. But it would be lovely if this history was retained somehow. It's so fabulous and weird. Maybe I'll look into it.....
