I have never stayed at that hotel but I was also lucky enough to travel to Tokyo on business around that time and I used to stay at The Okura. It has since been renovated and I haven’t been back but at the time it had a classic Japanese feeling to it too.
They did a meticulous restoration of it and it is a great as ever!
