Ooh yes - for pencils I rather like the really thin Muji propelling pencils. And for paper, I’m always interested in paper that will ‘take’ fountain pen ink without blotting. Filofax paper isn’t great for this, which is disappointing

I’ll have to check out the Muji ones. I’m a big fan of anything Blackwing puts out. I love a good cedar shaved pencil for writing. And I used the Leuchtturm Journals for most of my writing. I found Moleskines didn’t hold up to normal wear and tear well and their pages were too thin.

It’s worth pointing out that Japanese fountain pen nibs are more fine (thinner) than their western counterpart. So for example a Pilot Kakuno EF nib fountain pen will give you an extremely fine (& smooth) write...
